R160 on the D Line

It will happen when it happens.

It may never happen at all. The R68's at concourse could stay their until thier retirement, and by then, a new car order will be coming in to replace the R68's. The Not every line will utilize R160's. Has the R38, R42, R40 Slant or R42 run on every line? No. Neither will the R160's. I'm not saying the (D) won't get them, nor am I saying they will. We just don't know. Who knows, the (D) may get the R160's when they are 20 years old (~2027), 30 years old (~2037), or may have the R160's for their last days in service.

The 32s have been everywhere pretty much lol

I rode them on the A B C E F G N Q R W myself and I've seen photos of them on the other lines too

R160A or R160B on the (D), that would be nice, however like what others said, it's not going to happen anytime soon. the R68 cars continue to serve the (D) very well, so R160 cars won't appear on the (D). If you are a West End rider in Brooklyn, and like to check out the R160 cars, just hop on the (M), R160A-1s appear on the (M) when they run there.
