Micstromme Posted February 28, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 28, 2009 I know that I would be psyched if I saw one of those things on the B35 or even the B67/B75, since those are the buses I encounter most of the time. The idea that Jackie Gleason Depot would get new technology after nearly a decade with the Orion 7 CNGs' arrivals. My question is who here would actually seeing those NGs on the JG Routes? In case you want a list of the routes that are there, here's the list: B4 B8 B9 B11 B16 B23 B35 B37 B63 B67 B68 B69 B70 B71 B75 B77

Micstromme Posted February 28, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted February 28, 2009 If they wanna just see if it works right i Take the B4 or B75 Crush load i take the B35 or B63 LOL. I forgot that the B63 can get packed at times. What about the B8/B9? Don't those routes take some heat during rushes? Also the B68? I know there is little action in Windser Terrace, but what about towards Coney Island?

UlmerPark B6 Posted March 1, 2009 Share #5 Posted March 1, 2009 I found a very reliable source on BusChat stating, 3851-3899 would be transferred to JG from Yukon, and 7590-7625 to WF. Yukon will be sending (3852-3861 - held for transfer later S89 buses)3862-3899 to Gleason Depot, and gleason will be sending 7590-7625 to Westfarm Depot. jacsnyy Posted March 1, 2009 Share #6 Posted March 1, 2009 But according to ttmg's depot roster, that is all of Yukons NG-07's. What would they be replaced with? I think the NG-07's would look great on some JG lines, though.

B41 Posted March 1, 2009 Share #8 Posted March 1, 2009 Yukon will be getting nothing, maybe, or maybe something from 4xxx. Maybe JG will get 4010+ because CAS already has up to 4002. and YUK has to get replacements if it is giving 3852-3899.
SIR North Shore Posted March 2, 2009 Share #9 Posted March 2, 2009 According to a couple of reliable sources over at BusChat, once Castleton is done getting it's new O7NGs, then Yukon will receive 4010 and up and ship out it's current O7NGs just like CAS did. kngmn Posted March 2, 2009 Share #17 Posted March 2, 2009 #7620 - #7625 are already at West Farms depot. do you mean West Farms depot might get #7560 - #7619? if so: West Farms depot will able to retire 1995 orion5 #400 series like about 10 bus #401 - #409. but it will be better if #7560 - #7612 go to Gun Hill depot?
