1. i think :

if the MTA NYCT were to purchase nova bus lfx or any

low fleet artic bus.

replace the 1997 - 1998 new flyer bus #1000 - #1109.

that should be replace by a low fleet artic.

new flyer artic #1000 - #1109 is about 12 or 13 years old?

SEPTA never had any 60ft flyers.........had RTSs in the 80s and 90s.

The NG's should hit the Jackie Gleason Department, big time, most of my bus lines in my neighborhood are based from that depot. B4, and B68!

First of all, thank you for bringing the main topic back to the forfront.

Second, I can only imagine what it would be like seeing those NGs on the B35. Or better yet, can anyone imagine seeing either a B37, B67, or B75 NG next to the B41 NG? That would be the real treat, seeing these sister routes have Hybrids that look just like that of the B41.

But, yes, I am waiting for the day that the B35 and the B67 have these buses to work with. I am also glad that the depot will be keeping the other Orion VIIs. Just because I like the ideas of the NGs at Gleason doesn't mean that I will not miss the CNGs on those routes.

Please comment on the idea of Gleason receiving NGs later this year and whether you would accept used equipment or would you prefer the equipment of the 40xx/41xx to go to Jackie Gleason Depot. Either way, JG takes good care of their buses and that's a fact.

Right on, champ....

Anyway, I wouldn't mind seein those NG's every morning here along Church...

Better yet, I wouldn't mind seein the stupefied looks on ppl's faces when they pull into a bus stop... There are still some that still haven't grasped the concept of 'why di bus na stop hea... me no caaaare... limited nuttin... bumbaclaat....'

In english, They don't understand why LTD's bypass their stop.
