It's time to have an F train express

The capacity for express service exists

 

The MTA's proposed fare hike is running on the express track right to our collective pockets. In Brooklyn, passengers on the F line can't help but wonder why no trains run at the same pace. The problem F passengers face is simple, and perhaps emblematic of larger issues at the MTA: the tracks are there, but no one's driving the train.

(C) 168 St via Chrystie St to Metropolitan Av, all times.

Nights Metropolitan to Myrltle Aves.

 

(F) Express; Bergen St to Church Av; both directions weekdays;

Express via Culver, Church Av to Kings Hwy, Peak Direction;

Local Kings Hwy to Stillwell Av.

 

(G) Extended via Culver Local to Kings Highway and or Avenue X;

Weekends to Church Av

 

 

(J) No changes

 

(M) replaces the (Z) to / from Jamaica Center.

 

(V) via West 4th St Crossover from 6th Av to 6th Av ( via 8th Av C Line)

extended via Cranberry St tunnel and Fulton St local to Euclid Av,

except late nights
