When NYCTA R1 through R36 subway cars except R32 cars were painted in MTA silver with blue strips under the side windows in 1970-1980, were the interiors painted light tan or beige with red doors and dark gray seats? I checked photos on http://www.nycsubway.org site and found out that one of the R36WF subway cars was painted in MTA silver/blue with tan interior. I think the car number was 9010. I'm creating 3D models of NYCTA subway cars and I want the paint schemes to be correct. Most subway cars were painted in all green, all red, all white, Redbird scheme, "Greenbird" scheme, and MTA scheme. Only R10, R12, R14, R15, and R33/R36WF subway cars had their own paint schemes that were not used on other subway cars. The R1-R9 subway cars were painted in dark green. Did NYCTA paint these subway cars brown or black?
