Nice, clear and crisp pix... I bet I saw a (9) running as well... I rode one in 2006 into South Ferry, B)! And the (J) Nassau St. Local is not in Manhattan but it is a popular mistake in the Subways... So, no big deal, :)!

Thanks.....(9) trains stop running back in 2005 and Nassau Street is in Manhattan!

Nice photos and videos!! :tup::tup:

Nice, I love the (9) on SF

nice photos

Brilliant pics Curtis! :)

Nice shots! R.I.P. Old South Ferry!

Thanks guys!

The only thing I see wrong with the (J) sign is it say Jamaica Center bound yet the next stop is Kosciuszko St then Myrtle so it should say Broad St. bound. If you're wondering why it says Nassau St. Local that's probably my biggest gripe with that line because that really makes no sense. I know the MTA created those line names to be Manhattan-centric but that is probably the worst since the (J) & (M) run down Nassau St for all of one stop. When the (J) says Nassau St. Exp that really makes no sense because the express run is in Brooklyn

Well is going in the right direction.....its Brooklyn (J) train @ Bowery. I remember when the R-160A-1's testing on the (J) it was suppose to read the Jamaica Local part but I just they didn't want to add that part!

It would be nice if the (J) & (M) had different signs to be more descriptive...unlike all other subway lines that run through Manhattan they don't serve a long run down a major street....like Broadway LCL, 6th Ave LCL or 8th Ave LCL. Maybe something like these would be better:

(M)

METROPOLITAN AVE

MYRTLE AVE LCL

BKLYN BWAY LCL

(M)

BAY PKWY

BKLYN BWAY LOCAL

WEST END LCL

(J)

JAMAICA CENTER or BROAD ST.

JAMAICA LCL

BKLYN BWAY EXP or LCL

I doubt its going to the read the Bklyn Bway Lcl or Exp or West End Lcl, but it would really be nice to see a 3rd reading! These would be better if they this reading:

(J) Jamaica Center or Broad St

(J) Nassasu St Local or Exp

(J) Jamaica Exp or Lcl

(M) Metropolitan Av

(M) Nassau St Local

(M) Myrtle Av Local

(M) Bay Pkwy

(M) Myrtle Av Local

(M) Nassau St Local or West End Lcl
