So we hit up Atlantic Avenue and , South Ferry , Chambers Street and , Canal Street and , Essex Street and Simpson Street and W. Farms Square-E. Tremont Avenue and . We caught #9162-9158 9153-9157 on the .....brand new set....smells good also and also a R-142 train via the inner loop by South Ferry. Here are the pics and vids...hope ya like!! BTW we bumped into Fred G @ South Ferry....great you see you again I didn't know there was a G/O to Nereid Avenue-238th Street The makes a return for the closing of the old South Ferry

Myrtle Local 0 Posted March 17, 2009 Share #14 Posted March 17, 2009 http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x105/JamaicaQnzFreak/MTA%20New%20York%20City%20Subway/102_8178.jpg The only thing I see wrong with the sign is it say Jamaica Center bound yet the next stop is Kosciuszko St then Myrtle so it should say Broad St. bound. If you're wondering why it says Nassau St. Local that's probably my biggest gripe with that line because that really makes no sense. I know the MTA created those line names to be Manhattan-centric but that is probably the worst since the & run down Nassau St for all of one stop. When the says Nassau St. Exp that really makes no sense because the express run is in Brooklyn

I remember when the R-160A-1's testing on the it was suppose to read the Jamaica Local part but I just they didn't want to add that part!

I remember when the R-160A-1's testing on the it was suppose to read the Jamaica Local part but I just they didn't want to add that part! It would be nice if the & had different signs to be more descriptive...unlike all other subway lines that run through Manhattan they don't serve a long run down a major street....like Broadway LCL, 6th Ave LCL or 8th Ave LCL. Maybe something like these would be better: METROPOLITAN AVE MYRTLE AVE LCL BKLYN BWAY LCL BAY PKWY BKLYN BWAY LOCAL WEST END LCL JAMAICA CENTER or BROAD ST.
