via White Plains Road Posted March 17, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 17, 2009 Yesterday Majinvegeta (Shane), TexasDART (Joe), Orion and I decided to go railfanning again so we can get the opening of the new South Ferry station and what a lovely station it is. After that several advisories, someone made the train go into BIE on Rector Street then to top it off a water main break suspended and trains. So we decided to get on the from Whitehall Street to Times Square-42nd Street for the ...took some shots and videos @ Willets Point-Shea Stadium and took some bus shots around Main Street. We caught R-62A #2153 with blue bucket seating through the entire car @ Flushing-Main Street station! While @ the new South Ferry Station for the opening we bumped in to R32 3838, 33rd Street, R62A 1991 and Fred G....great you meet you gentlemen for the 1st time and many other times lol. Thanks Shane.....a historic and wonderful day it sure was and I'll never forget it! Nice to finally get to meet you guys. You guys should have been at World Trade Center. I happen to photograph a Slant on the A and a R32 on the C at World Trade Center. Nice to finally meet you also, ah man a R-40S on the and R-32 on the I would have love to seen that! Awesome pics.
