Hm I knew I saw a weird blue bus off the highway going through the Bronx before. What are those buses for?

They're in use for a service called Select Bus Service. (SBS) Just roughly covering it, the buses are more than a limited bus stop service providing service on heavily used lines. There's no acceptance of a Metrocard as you must purchase your ride before board. (Proof of receipt) It's only $2 and it has more laid out stops than a limited and a local bus.
