Nice shots. The reason why the slant says (A) to Far Rockaway I think is because of the fact that slants do not have a sign for Jay St or Boro Hall.

Thanks! ;)

Ohh,never knew the slants didnt have Jay St on the rollsign, thats weird being that Jay St is like a terminal since it can turn trains.

LMAO,thats a good name.

Froget being the Car Inspector. The cat is already doing its job of being the NYCTM cat. It can have a side job of being the Rat Chaser keeping the rats out the museum.

If that cat joins here, his name will appear like this:

Car Inspector

well, they couldnt put hoyt schermerhorn for the last stop, cause people wouldve thought that was the last stop. I guess they were better off leaving Far Rockaway.

Right but when that happens generally they try to be close. It's like when trains used to terminate at 149th St. Third Ave in the Bx, they'd sign them for 149/Grand Concourse

That last part you said it's not true, not all tourguys are correct, R40 slant pairs 4192-4193 will be for the museum.

look at these picture

http://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?79128

http://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?78411

http://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?78412

so mostly likely the R40 slant pairs 4192-4193 will be for the museum.

so don't always listen to every tourguy because not all of them tell the truth.

Also the R32 pair 3352- 3353 is not always preserved at the museum since some days it needs to be maintained at the yard.

Nope, they are in the tunnels of the TM along with R36ML 9542/43

4140/41: Museum Cars as of March 18,2009

3994/95 might be one of the garbage trains, This pair is at CCY yard hooked with a Bunch of r38's right next to the R30 former school cars, 3988/89 gone off of TA Property By Barge March 27th 2009, and they were garbage trains for the summer of 2008 until Febuary 2009, they were the 2 R38's hooked to the R33WF's, All R33ML's garbage trains are at CI and 36th st yard.

Here's a list of the Museum fleet cars R32-42 as of 2009

R40M:4450/51 as of January 2009, They are still at Jamaica
