mtattrain Posted June 25, 2011 Share #78 Posted June 25, 2011 Rode the Nostalgia Train numerous times...that's it though. Same goes with me... but I've been in non R-type cars at the NYCTM.
2 Train Master Posted June 25, 2011 Share #79 Posted June 25, 2011 The oldest B division subway car I been on is the R1/9 series. The oldest A division subway car I been on is the Lo-V. If I hadn't rode them it would be the R-32 for B division and some Redbird(R-2x I suppose) series for the A division.

Green Lines 96 Posted July 14, 2011 Share #81 Posted July 14, 2011 The oldest I been on were those dirty R32 Cars. I've always wanted to get on a Redbird but they were only on the train and when I started riding trains alot they were retired. I did see one in 2008 being used for cleaning service along with a yellow subway car.

The I Man Posted July 15, 2011 Share #83 Posted July 15, 2011 I rode on a Q type in 1968 on the Lower portion Of the Myrtle Avenue El. I'm not sure if that counts since the Q was an elevated car and not a subway car.

Kacie Jane Posted July 16, 2011 Share #89 Posted July 16, 2011 For B-Division, it's definitely R30s on the . For A-Division, I think I've only been on Redbirds on the , although it's possible I caught one or two on the "mainline" IRT before they were retired.
