R44 5278 Posted March 27, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 27, 2009 Why travel for miles or go to Summit to railfan when you can do it right down the road from your HS. Enjoy! I was just really fascinated by this old fashioned pickup truck parked at my HS:
Ken S. Posted March 28, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 28, 2009 Nice shots. I am so glad the forum resizes images automatically though. 4000x3000 is way to large for forum posting.

metsfan Posted March 28, 2009 Share #4 Posted March 28, 2009 Wow, wooden cat towers. Nice shots, next time use the outdoor setting though, i think you had it set for indoor. Also.... never point a camera at the sun! Wood ties & towers, its like the milwaukee road! - A

Also.... never point a camera at the sun! Wood ties & towers, its like the milwaukee road! - A Unfortunately, NJT plans to replace all wooden catenary poles with metal poles. The Gladstone branch is the only line in the continent to still have wooden catenary poles. It's a classic! In addition, I really enjoy the fact that DL&W built their catenary with constant tension catenary on the wooden poles in comparison to the PRR loose catenary. The shots weren't in night mode, rather I mistakenly switched the camera to red eye reduction flash.

R44 5278 Posted March 29, 2009 Author Share #10 Posted March 29, 2009 Sorry Everyone. I was trying to bring them to the best quality through Imageshack, but everytime I resized pictures to blog mode it's just very disappointing. What should I do?
