NJCL Perth Amboy Afternoon and Rushhour Action along with CSAO CR69

Recommended Posts

Posted in wrong forum by accident so re-posting in correct one:

Well today while windy was a still a beautiful day none the less, so I headed out after classes to Browns Yard where nothing was going on, so I headed over to Perth Amboy for a bit before heading back to Browns to meet with Eric K. We waited and listened to the scanner for a bit and decided nothing worth chasing was departing there so we decided to head over to Perth Amboy where I had been earlier. We started off at the station but made are way over to the Raritan swing span where we spent the evening rush. Here are the photos.

Awesome stuff!

I like the close up of 4627. That loco seems to have a very low frequency hum to it compared to the other 46's, and better acceleration. I rode in the car next to it a bunch of times in 2007, and it's my favorite alp-46. ;)

Thank You!

I love the 46's they look great and are reliable too! 4627 is one of my favorite units in the class along with 4609 and 4626.

Very cool stuff again (E)!

It's sad, those older geeps look ok from a distance, but they are so far worn out, and if you look closely they don't look healthy either.

Will post photos of my recent trip to hoboken soon.
