Hudson protect?

Recommended Posts

Hudson protect was out on the NEC pulling cars back from Morrisville, the ALP you saw was probably just protect power, sitting there in case of any mishaps. They do that alot now since they have enough 46's and 44's to cover everything.

That has a conductor & an engineer, or 2 engineer or? I know trains using the NEC need 2 people minimum but wasnt sure how they handled it.

Conductor and Engineer I believe, I always see two guys in the cab when I catch it and they would not do two engineers to the best of my knowlegde especially since they are taking cars back usually so they would need someone to monitor them and what not. I know extra moves(like the ones in the links provided) usually have a conductor as well as what looks like a rear brake.
