1162 was the last one. That bus was repainted and was supposed to be used as the roadeo bus, however it was scraped in the end.

 

is there any picture for proof?

When they get scrapped! And my posts on post-scrapping stuff is really, well, I believe they go to heaven :P :tup:!

 

It's frankly childish, and not something a normal sophomore would believe in, but whatever works for you.

Yes. That is where buses such as the Ikarus 280.26 or Jelcz M11 will be going when they are finally scrapped. They can't go to heaven, because the dirty black clouds that they create would be a large enviromental hazard.

I've driven some buses that act like people or have moods. 7899 was one of them, sometimes it seemed like it was in a good mood and their were days she didn't want to be bothered. Another one was 7868, she did every bit of 80MPH and took off like a car, but somedays I'd drive her a little hard and she show me who's boss. Then later that day we both be on the same page and she would do everything I needed when I needed it. In terms of new equipment, (NJT) Nova 1013, 1018 reacted like we had some kind of telepathy, those two right there would kick the fans on when I got angry and started to fly and when I calmed down the fans would kick off, even in the dead of winter. (MTA)Bus 3378 and I had a hell of a relationship. That girl was amazing, I'd used to clean and shine the drivers area and the front windows inside and out. She was the 2nd fastest bus in Yonkers (after 3387, and we know what happened to that one). And soon as I was bumped off of that bus the next pick, she became a dog and ever since has had mysterious mechanical problems. When I got her again she road called and the mech. said there was nothing wrong even though the trans. just up and quit, the shop forman said "That bus has a ghost in it. It don't act right unless you drive it." The next time I got her she was fine to me and a dog to everyone else. IDK if they have souls, but the definitly do have personality(NYCT)
