I saw 3 trains: 2 coming from Newark and 1 going towards Newark. I took a total of 78 photos but I will post my favorites here. To answer the question about solid V sets. There is one right now lead by ALP46 4627. Just a tip becareful fanning at Matawan as there are some nut case commuters who have called me in before. He kindly commented "Railfanning, huh?" and I replied with a yes. I asked him how things were going on the line today and he said good. Like every Friday, I go there and catch the 5:45 train (which is an Arrow) and take it to Rahway to a NEC train Metuchen. I'm not doing it this Friday cuz of Spring break.
