MTR Admiralty Posted April 9, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 9, 2009 How will this affect Queens people? The BXM18 goes to Bronx only from Manhattan, right?
R62A 1991 Posted April 9, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted April 9, 2009 How will this affect Queens people? The BXM18 goes to Bronx only from Manhattan, right? QM riders that have no service to Downtown Manhattan can now transfer in Manhattan to the BxM18 to go to Downtown Manhattan and vice-versa. MTR Admiralty Posted April 9, 2009 Share #4 Posted April 9, 2009 QM riders that have no service to Downtown Manhattan can now transfer in Manhattan to the BxM18 to go to Downtown Manhattan and vice-versa. Oh I see, but some of them like the QM1A goes to Downtown, right?
Guest Charles Posted April 9, 2009 Share #5 Posted April 9, 2009 Only select QM1/A service goes to Downtown Manhattan. The only other lines are the QM11 serving Forest Hills + Lefrak City and the QM24 serving Glendale. This would be useful for people on the QM2/A lines and the Rockaway (QM16/17) lines that only serve Midtown.
Forest Glen Posted April 10, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 10, 2009 I doubt that Queens express riders would transfer to another express within Manhattan. It's actually easier to switch to the subway for service to lower Manhattan.
