Five hurt as errant car wrecks bus shelter

 

An out-of-control car careened through a crowded downtown Brooklyn intersection on Tuesday and slammed through a bus shelter, injuring five people, including the driver.

 

One woman suffered a broken leg and two others suffered leg injuries, but none of the injuries were life-threatening, officials said.

Read the article. Her boyfriends insurance will skyrocket, if has insurance. An unlicensed driver moved his vehicle, and hit pedestrians, after backing up into another car. I wonder if her permit will be revoked now. Thankfully no one is dead.

they shouldn't give out "learners permit". either give the guy a real driver license or don't. you think anyones gonna follow the rule?

We have permits for a reason. They have MOAR limitations basically to them than a regular drivers license. Now they're good way to start the learning cause how you gonna learn without practice and driving with a permit? Now with permits, they're out to get ya on those. You'll see when you get to that time error, something I'm going through right now....

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I sympathize with the boyfriend more than anyone else in this case, for precisely that reason.
