MTR Admiralty Posted April 12, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 12, 2009 If you want to join please RSVP here on this thread. I recommend that you (those that will be going for sure) to attach a post it or a sticker to your jacket that indicates your NYCTF handle and/or your name. That makes things a lot simpler! Plus, we could know you guys better!
Smoot178 Posted April 13, 2009 Share #3 Posted April 13, 2009 If my meeting with Metsfan for tomorrow falls through (it looks like it may I haven't been able to contact him) I can be there. I would be leaving Matawan NJ at about 8:30 into NY Penn and transfer to the F line arriving at about 10 o'clock so I should be there! By the way, isn't it 74th and Broadway? I've just usually railfanned unknowingly throughout the day. Anyway, would you all be interested in having a real newbie with you all. Thanks, mates

Forest Glen Posted April 14, 2009 Share #21 Posted April 14, 2009 Like I said at RD I'm in. I really don't feel like doing the bus portion of the trip, but railfanning with a group involves compromising.

Now you know where to go from the station. I will be wearing a black/grey jacket and sweats tomorrow. Everyone who is coming should have a post-it or a HELLO MY NAME IS sticker with their name and their handle on NYCTF, so we can keep track of who arrived and who we still have to wait for. Me and Henry will get to the bus stop by 10:40, if you get there earlier then be on the lookout for us around 10:40. Don't be late, we'll try to leave around 11:00 if everyone is there. We will wait until 11:10 if there are still people who RSVP'd and aren't there. Then we will leave. We are eating lunch (which can be bought at Jackson Hts. or at a random place at Jay) at Coney Island while we are waiting for the SMEE to depart. We hope to see everyone there! Keep in mind that it might rain tomorrow. Also, try not to crowd the RFW...
