I remember back in the early 90s I always wished that the ran express down Broadway. I used to hate the fact that the was going local at the time.

Haha. I agree. That G.O. was long enough!!! Anyways, I remember asking my parents why the N doesn't run on the express tracks, because I poring over the old 1987 maps. I remember my dad said (I was 5 at that time) that the NYCTA was lazy and could not fix a weak beam.

 

The 6th Avenue and Broadway reshuffling was a good idea though in 2005, especially with the Q and W.
