MattTrain Posted May 7, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 7, 2009 I have photos of the Concourse Yard here, A pair of R40 cars lies idle in the yard. There is mostly R68 cars, with one R142A and a few R68A cars as well. Here are two R40 slant sets signed as to Far Rockaway on the far side of the yard, along with two R42 trains here, signed as a and Checking out the street with buses. Since I can't post this along my photos I'll just leave them here. Enjoy. To see the rest of the album go here. To see the original thread I started go here. MattTrain Posted May 7, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted May 7, 2009 Nice pics! That's where I usually look out from at the station. Thank you very much. Although I not usually afraid of heights, this area seemed a bit high, because the Concourse Yard look like it was really low, with a street bridging over the yard. I almost dropped my camera when I took photos of the yard. Try not to get your fingers in the view, nice pics! Oops my bad, I must have held it too tight then, sorry. Thanks for your comment. MattTrain Posted May 8, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted May 8, 2009 Ha, you may also want to zoom in more, camera permitting, on the trains. I wish I had that feature, this camera does not. Nice pix of the Concourse Yard and I hope you and your camera are okay. My camera is good, luckily I had the neck strap worn.

MattTrain Posted May 12, 2009 Author Share #11 Posted May 12, 2009 @ Forest Glen Thanks for your comment. @mark1447 The Concourse Yard is probably the easiest subway yard to go view train cars throughout the whole system, all you have to do is look from the or at street level at Bedford Park Boulevard. Thanks for your comment. @Q25toJamaica Diversity is right, the ( cars are looking good side by side at the yard. Thanks a lot.
