Maserati7200 Posted May 8, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 8, 2009 Here are my shots from the New South Ferry Station from 3/17/09. Idk why I'm posting it almost 2 months later.. oh well Wanted to document what the floor strip looks like when brand new Wanted to document what the train tracks look likes in a brand new station. The cement is still white, in 40 years it won't be. Enjoy

Maserati7200 Posted May 8, 2009 Author Share #10 Posted May 8, 2009 Excellent! Are those track ties actually made out of concrete like those in the German ICE tunnels? Thanks! And yes I believe they are concrete. You can also find concrete ties at Times Square on the south bound BMT express platform, and scattered around the Brighton Line. R44 5278 Posted May 9, 2009 Share #12 Posted May 9, 2009 It's becoming sort of a new thing to have concrete ties on the underground tracks. Also, Brighton line is starting to get CWR in some places.
