G train to run to 71st-Forest Hills this weekend?

Recommended Posts

Today, I checked the Weekend Service Advisory notice and I saw that the (G) train was not on the list. Does this mean the (G) train will run to 71st-Forest Hills this weekend?

If a route is not listed under the Genenral Order Detour list then that means its not affected, unless the (MTA) does have the G/O and forgot to list it or an emergency work comes in.

Poissiably the (G) will run this weekend then. Plus the (C) finally..

It will. Thankfully, since the service cuts were rejected, we will now see the (G) on QB once again in December.

Service cuts or not, the (G) runs to Forest Hills on paper for the past few years. G.O or not, the (G) rarely makes it out of Court Square. There has been a few occassions where a GO wasn't posted and the (G) still terminated at Court Sq.

Went there today. The (G) was indeed running to Forest Hills. I even took pics!

Wow, just another rare occasion. But it doesn't mean it's a habitual thing (meaning, it's not going to happen every week)

The TA had no other choice. When the (E) is sent via 63rd Street, the (G) is ALWAYS terminates at Continential Avenue.

True indeed, the MTA should post signs like "(G) trains running this weekend". That would be helpful.

The TA expects you to know that the (G) is supposed to run on QB.
