Bracamonte Posted May 9, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 9, 2009 Today, I checked the Weekend Service Advisory notice and I saw that the train was not on the list. Does this mean the train will run to 71st-Forest Hills this weekend?

mark1447 Posted May 9, 2009 Share #4 Posted May 9, 2009 If a route is not listed under the Genenral Order Detour list then that means its not affected, unless the does have the G/O and forgot to list it or an emergency work comes in. Poissiably the will run this weekend then. Plus the finally..
Amtrak7 Posted May 9, 2009 Share #5 Posted May 9, 2009 It will. Thankfully, since the service cuts were rejected, we will now see the on QB once again in December.

Service cuts or not, the runs to Forest Hills on paper for the past few years. G.O or not, the rarely makes it out of Court Square. There has been a few occassions where a GO wasn't posted and the still terminated at Court Sq.

But it doesn't mean it's a habitual thing (meaning, it's not going to happen every week)

MTR Admiralty Posted May 9, 2009 Share #10 Posted May 9, 2009 The TA had no other choice. When the is sent via 63rd Street, the is ALWAYS terminates at Continential Avenue. True indeed, the MTA should post signs like "(G) trains running this weekend". That would be helpful.
Amtrak7 Posted May 9, 2009 Share #11 Posted May 9, 2009 The TA expects you to know that the is supposed to run on QB.
