According to the TA Site, Some (D),(N)s, & (Q)s are turning early...

 

(D) The last stop for some Coney Island-bound trains is Bay Pkwy

 

Weekend, 6 AM Sat to 7 PM Sun, May 9 - 10

 

Transfer at Bay Pkwy to continue your trip.

(N) The last stop for some Coney Island-bound trains is Kings Hwy

 

Weekend, 6 AM Sat to 7 PM Sun, May 9 - 10

 

Transfer at Kings Hwy to continue your trip.

 

Note: (N) trains run every 8 minutes during this time.

(Q) Trains run in two sections:

 

1. Between 57 St and Brighton Beach

 

2. Between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Av

 

Weekend, 6 AM Sat to 7 PM Sun, May 9 - 10

 

Transfer at Brighton Beach to continue your trip.

 

Note: Trains run every 16 minutes between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Av

 

 

*I know for a fact, when (Q)s are split between the Beach and Stillwell, only 1 track is used at Stillwell for the (Q) Shuttle.

 

Anybody know what they're doing?

I know on the (Q) line, that after Brighton Beach, the Coney Island-bund track is closed, the shuttle train only runs on the Manhattan-bound side, both directions, there's only 1 anyway.

 

Is it closed just for the weekend, or its been closed for awhile?

Trackwork in several sections. The (N) train platform was closed so (N) trains terminated at the (D) train platform. Trackwork on the (N) platform caused this. Trackwork at West 8th & Ocean Parkway caused the (Q) Train G.O from what I saw. (D) trains most likely cause of the (N) trains terminating on the (D) train platform,

Sweet! The (N) back on the West End Platform. Havent seen that since the (W) days:cool::tup:
