There are 6 depots in brooklyn. grand ave and fresh pond are closer to queens. east ny is right by jackie robinson pkway's ent. jackie gleason is around 36st subway station. ulmer park is in bensonhurst and flatbush is around kings plaza. so which 1 is closest to you? if you pick gleason, that means you need to learn 19 routes, only 6 for flatbush;)

also you want to think about which area u wanna work, east ny, downtown bklyn or bay ridge. however, i suggest you to pick ulmer park. since it's easier to pass probation over there (base on my own exp)

Thank You ditja. I need to learn about those Depots & And which one I would have less problems gettng to in the winter time. I know being on time is always a must. So thats why I would pick which ever one I can get to faster in case any thing happens. And then again routes with less congestion would be best during my probation. In either case I'll will do what I have to do. LOL

Thank You again for that info.

U can google 'nycta bus depot to find out

Ulmer park has 1, 3, 6, 36, 64, 74, x27, 28, 29, 25

Flatbush 2, 31, 41, 44, 46, 49

One thing about flatbush's 4x routes. They are busy routes 24 hrs a day

Ulmer park's are more relaxing

I think that site has to up date the info. For example the B61. isn't in Jackie any more. It's at Gran. So I'm sure thier are others to.

Yeah,I agree.

Casey Stengel:Q27 is at Queens Village. Only 1 Q44 and only 1 Q20. Missing is the X32(weekdays only, when schools are open)and the Q31.

  • 2 months later...
you will get the manual and the benefit folder at 180 Livingston, from the supervisor interview. it's really up to you to study it or not. oh, don't bring the benefit folder on your 1st day to zerega, it doesn't mean anything until you qualify

Quick question, my husband got a rules and regulations manual today from Livingston...but it seems to only have 4 pages which describe situation or rules for b/o...other than that the first chapter is for all employees...then the remaining chapters pertain to T/O. Is this the manual you are speaking about?

Thanks
