Trainspotter Posted October 31, 2007 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2007 22 Indicted, Including NYC Bus Driver, in Niagara Falls Drug Sweep A cocaine ring that brought drugs from the streets of the Big Apple to the Cataract City is out of business after a state and local police task force swept through the Falls early Tuesday morning. Armed with an indictment charging 22 people with possession, sale and conspiracy to sell cocaine, cops and investigators from the New York Attorney General’s Organized Crime Task Force put the brakes on an operation they say brought 3 kilos of coke, with an estimated street value of $200,000, into the city. By the end of the day, 19 of the 22 suspects had been picked up. Full story: Niagara Gazette - October 31, 2007
Harry Posted November 1, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 1, 2007 That bus driver had some balls to try and get away with that. Very brazen indeed.
BMT4Life Posted November 1, 2007 Share #3 Posted November 1, 2007 This must have been shocking news to the MTA. For them to think one of their buses was used for transactions on and off duty must have blew their minds. That's just something they can't control. A bus driver is going to do whatever he/she wants once that bus is in their possession. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
sebbieprops Posted November 2, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 2, 2007 I'm sure they expected it to happen, sooner or later. You're bound to have a situation where an employee misuses the property they've been entrusted with.
