Self propelled trackless streetcar/trolly. They are quite popular for charter events such as weddings and other social events.

 

Some of these have current collection equipment, but none that i've ever seen in person.

That is a bus plain and simple. I'm sorry but that is not a trolley by any strech of the word, and I should know as I have spent some time working on real trolleys up in CT. I do have to say that this one is alot bigger then the ones NYU has in the city and the Prospect Park "trolley".

I understand this may have been constructed from an MCI 3 axle bus, however i jus wanted to make it clear that trackless trollies can vary between less "trolly" and more bus, and very trolly-esque and not at all looking like a bus. :cool: ;)

Found this thing...in Baltimore today. It's owned by one of the local charter outfits:

I think it's the same one that used to run in Montreal by Autobus Connaisseur. They had some Orion Is that rebuilt to look like old trams too.
