N-Trizzy2609 Posted November 7, 2007 Share #6 Posted November 7, 2007 Little Silver still has low platforms? Hmmm, so there is a gap in high plats between Matawan and Long Branch.
Eric Kreszl Posted November 8, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted November 8, 2007 Little Silver still has low platforms? Hmmm, so there is a gap in high plats between Matawan and Long Branch. Little Silver will never convert to high level platforms for 2 reasons. 1. On each end of the platforms there are 2 busy railroad crossings and on the other side the southbound track there is a road. 2. The boro of Little Silver won't allow the railroad to do so. Rediculous isn't? Eric

Pablo M 201 Posted November 10, 2007 Share #10 Posted November 10, 2007 Now, a station like that looks like its hard to put a high platform station because it'll have to be squeezed in, but its still ridiculous why they won't try it. NIMBYs stopping NJT from doing it?
