Little Silver still has low platforms? Hmmm, so there is a gap in high plats between Matawan and Long Branch.

Little Silver will never convert to high level platforms for 2 reasons.

1. On each end of the platforms there are 2 busy railroad crossings and on the other side the southbound track there is a road.

2. The boro of Little Silver won't allow the railroad to do so.

Rediculous isn't?

Sadly, if they don't allow it then it will be the only electrified NJCL station

with low platforms as Perth and South Amboy are building high platforms. It is rediculous.

I agree with you on that.

Now, a station like that looks like its hard to put a high platform station because it'll have to be squeezed in, but its still ridiculous why they won't try it. NIMBYs stopping NJT from doing it?
