kaback9 Posted May 19, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted May 19, 2009 Probably not since those were taken on Eastbound Trains. There was a westbound with some Autoracks in the consist but they were mty while the loaded ones had imports from Japan.
metsfan Posted May 21, 2009 Share #10 Posted May 21, 2009 Probably not since those were taken on Eastbound Trains. There was a westbound with some Autoracks in the consist but they were mty while the loaded ones had imports from Japan. Oh, ok. I saw UP, SP, BNSF, old rebranded conrail NS, CSX, 2 from mexico, CN, maine central, and some other -very- interesting appliqués. Mine was eastbound also, over the river & up that line that curves away from the PATH tracks on the new viaduct over the street. It wasn't empty 100%, but it was by no means full, most of them had 2-3 cars, some had one and a few were empty. I know that nissan makes cars in mexico, so that's probably who was using those. Was cool to see auto carriers after so long, i used to see them all the time when i'd ride into NYP down in that yard before the tunnel, but for a long time now been doing tre-nwk-exp/hob or tre-new-wtc. In any case cool & interesting thanks for the infor! - A
kaback9 Posted May 22, 2009 Author Share #11 Posted May 22, 2009 No problem! Glad to help, I'm sure some of those mty's could have been on the westbound that had them as CSX likes to throw random things together lol.
