AA 8th Avenue Posted June 16, 2009 Author Share #10 Posted June 16, 2009 Sorry KR but that wasn't an R44, that was an R42 train I also have it as an in the silver paint scheme with the new logo. I put a video of my longest passenger train of New York Central. You'll see my collection better that way.
Bdwy Line C/R Posted June 16, 2009 Share #11 Posted June 16, 2009 Where did you find the Bluebirds and who manufacured them? K-Line? Chancy laying those tracks directly on the wall supports w/o the wood bracing to supporting them. I'd hate to see the track collapse w/ the equipment on them. Excellent collection. AA 8th Avenue Posted June 16, 2009 Author Share #12 Posted June 16, 2009 Those were WF-R36 made by MTH in 2003. I've had them like this for 5 years no problems yet but I will b getting more wood soon. Just in some housing trouble so no new construction yet until all settled. Luckily the cars are not that heavy and the brackets are mounted on the beams. I also feared that more wood would create way more weight on the setup. The setup will be rearranged to place more trains on it. Stay tuned and thanks for the comment. By the way how fun is it to ride the rails all day? Bdwy Line C/R Posted June 19, 2009 Share #13 Posted June 19, 2009 "Fun" isn't the word I'd use to describe a typical day. There are good days and bad daze. Hey its a job and somebody got to do it. Wouldn't have it any other way. (NJT) :nec:
AA 8th Avenue Posted June 19, 2009 Author Share #14 Posted June 19, 2009 I'll put up a few steam engines I have including a K-4 pacific and a Mikado, as well as a 6-8-6 Turbine. I do sincerely apologize for the long post, but just wanted to show my railroad collection in "O" Gauge. Any questions...... Please. Alberto PS also add the qtypes in world's fair blue, the BMT Standards, LIRR budd car set, LIRR MU set. Theres more but at a later date...

AA 8th Avenue Posted March 23, 2010 Author Share #22 Posted March 23, 2010 There is a 4 car powered set on Ebay right now. The two car set is not but also if you are looking for the world's fair blue number it is also available on ebay. The original brightliner R32 is there but pricey as well as the graffitti version of the R32. The R1 set is also up for auction check them out but follow this strategy. If you are serious about buying a set and have the cash wait for 5 minutes before the auction ends and bid 20 to 30 seconds before the auction ends to give yourself a good shot at winning. If its at $350 bid $400 to give some extra cushion for the win. Good luck they are out there just go and find them and win!...
