Does anyone remember these things? Not the Metrocard of course. The paper transfers.

 

 

I remember asking for a transfer anyway when I didn't need a connecting bus. I would go and give it away to someone who needed it.

I remember the older version of the metrocard ofcourse, I actually have one. But I didn't realize the paper transfers were still around during that time (but it seems logical now ofcourse). I actually have some old Green Lines paper Transfers, pretty cool I must say. Did the paper transfers have any time limits or anything like that? Thanks a lot for sharing.

I remember them very well. How long one had to make the transfer I don't remember.

Wasn't it two hours or so to transfer?

IIRC, it was 2 hours. The lines on the top of the transfer have something to do with it.

 

I have a couple of Bee-Line transfers before they started accepting Metrocard.

I remember the old design of the MetroCard, of course, but the paper transfers still look very vague to me. They look only remotely familiar, not surprisingly, since I was only 9 years old in 1996.
