Fred G Posted May 24, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2009 The very first train to the new station was way too early for me (too early for the New Haven line as well). I opted for riding the first New Haven line train in, and being the first around the wye in revenue service at MO (the Harlem Line train followed us about 15 or so minutes later). This is the first train that we all boarded. We were just south of the station when it crapped out and we backed up to the platform where MN put us on another trainset. We left 8 minutes late but made up the time and arrived on time at Yankee Stadium. The train was full but not packed. Yay! into the wye with Harlem M7a on the left Joining the Hudson Line. My first look at the new station. First NH train at Yankee Stadium First Harlem line train. Nice that they used a M3a consist. Shiny, too! Interior. MN was checking train tickets on exit. I was allowed to keep mine as a souvenier. Crane shot. Please check out my album, too: http://madre-de-dios.org/gallery2/v/movement/trains/fieldtrips/052309/

Amtrak7 Posted May 25, 2009 Share #4 Posted May 25, 2009 Nice! Is that wide-angle distortion I see on the M3A there? Makes the shot look better, though.
