R10 2952 Posted May 26, 2009 Share #8 Posted May 26, 2009 MY dream roster would be a bit weird, but still interesting. I d9on't know all the depots, so I'll just list it like this: Manhattan: -Mostly 1979-1995 RTS, many GMC w/ rollsigns -Articulated Ikarus 280.26 for crosstown/heavy-use lines -Some Jelcz M11 and Ikarus 260.04 here and there -10-20 Jelcz PR110M Bronx: -Many GMC RTS and many Ikarus 260.04 (definitely on BX7/10/20) -Ikarus 280.26 and Orion Articulated for heavy-use lines -A few Orion Vs here and there -20 to 30 Jelcz PR110M and M11 Queens: -TMC/GMC RTS; moderate amount (definitely Q38/67) -MANY Ikarus 260.04 and Jelcz M11/PR110M (definitely Q11/19/29/38/45/53/54/67/69 -A few Orion Vs - 5 to 15 Ikarus 280.26 Brooklyn: -Moderate amount of TMC RTS -Moderate amount of Ikarus 260.04 and Jelcz M11/PR110M (roughly 25%- 45%/30%) -Some Orion Vs (the kind that Triboro ran, with the soft seats) -10 Ikarus 280.26 Staten Island: -All Jelcz PR110Ms (its a quiet borough; let them have a quiet bus) Express Buses: -Mostly Ikarus 250 coach series (most likely the 256, the one w/ quad headlights and rear-mounted RABA D2156 engine; to heck with those MCI coaches, I can't stand them) -Jelcz L11/PR110L and IL -Jelcz PR110D (regular Polish engine, SW680/165) -Jelcz D120 (same bus as PR110D, except with a Soviet engine; LIAZ ML 637) -Autosan H9-20/21/
