R62A 1991 Posted May 31, 2009 Share #28 Posted May 31, 2009 All of it, all 468 stations. I did that 3 summers ago, riding each line & taking a peek at each station. Very, very interesting, the different faces & neighborhoods of the subway. SIR, though, has yet to be touched by me.
dustclee Posted May 31, 2009 Share #29 Posted May 31, 2009 I haven't been to: - all of the Bronx except for the between 138 and 161, and the between 161 and Manhattan. - Brooklyn. - Lefferts branch. - IRT Brooklyn lines past Atlantic Avenue. - Most of the Crosstown line. - 7th Avenue lines north of 72nd. 8 Av/Fulton Exp Posted May 31, 2009 Share #30 Posted May 31, 2009 ive been on every line, & to every terminal several times over, ive even walked and explored some tunnels throughout the system considering the fact railfanning was all i did when i lived in Coney Island growing up ive even done the entire PATH system which isnt saying much since its so small i think NJ transit will be the next system i conquer every line other than the NE Corridor to Trenton which ive been to. Maserati7200 Posted June 1, 2009 Share #33 Posted June 1, 2009 If you have taken the through Brooklyn and to Far Rockaway, the should be no problem for you. (?) Maybe he's talking about the structural integrity of the stations? Sounds ridiculous, but just my thought. Anyway New Lots stations look like crap. Forest Glen Posted June 1, 2009 Share #34 Posted June 1, 2009 If you have taken the through Brooklyn and to Far Rockaway, the should be no problem for you. I went to Far Rock on a Subchat trip back in 2007. No way I'd go there alone.
trainfan22 Posted June 1, 2009 Share #35 Posted June 1, 2009 I went to Far Rock on a Subchat trip back in 2007. No way I'd go there alone. You should fan the line to New Lots on an saturday or sunday morning, it isn't that bad. Same goes for an weekday morning, like around 10-11 AM. I fanned the Far Rock by myself and nothing happend. You could always ride in the T/O or C/R car as thats least likely place for anything to go down. However, avoid the line on weekday afternoons. That route in Brooklyn during these hours is a zoo. R10 2952 Posted June 2, 2009 Share #36 Posted June 2, 2009 I have seen every part of the subway system, albeit over a long period of time (1 or 2 years). It started in 2006 with my exploring of the in upper manhattan when my father took me to Van cortlandt park once, and ended on January 25th, 2009 with my final conquest- the exploring of the mott Ave. branch of the . However, I have not been to some parts of the system in such a long time, so I will have to go out on yet another 'conquest'.

Maserati7200 Posted June 5, 2009 Share #47 Posted June 5, 2009 [/size] I meant I rode the shuttle from end to end.... I know that, but what else can you do? If you ride the 42nd street shuttle, your riding the entire thing. You cannot ride a portion of the 42ns street shuttle. If you meant that you rode it in both directions, sorry if I misunderstood you
