Nice to see some friendly operators too.

And cool catched with the (3) on R142.

Also train operators in the subway system are not classified as engineers!

Awesome pics of the New Lots line!!! I see you had luck getting the R142 (3) shots. I tried getting some shots but it seemed the C/R would always change it to the (4) reading. Great shots in all.

OMG!!! Is it me or is God playin w/ my vision, nice catch of a R142 (3) train. That is what I exactly what I proposed in my 2nd idea.

(1) can keep their R62A's

(2) & (5) can keep their R142s

(3) can have R142s as originally planned from the (4)

(4) can be three-fourths or all R142A by getting half of the R142As from Westchester Yard and the cars they already have

(6) can back R62As from the (7)

(7) can get the other half of the R142As/R188 from Westchester Yard plus 186 additional R188 cars their planning to make.

Thanks Everyone! I appricate the effert for such stong postive feedbacks!

And I hope that you will one day see an R142 (3) live again! =)

More Postive feedbacks please ~!

I find it interesting how it says on the (3) LCD "BWAY - 7 AV EXP" and on the (2) it just says "7 AV EXP"

nice pics

Thats because this signage from the early 2000s when the R142s were the latest NTT. Seeing that the (3) never uses R142/As the (MTA) never updated the LED of the (3), the (2)(4)(5)(6) have been updated as they are 100% NTT. Anyways thanks for the comment!

Slammin pictures!

Note how the destination says "TO NEW LOTS AV" instead of "NEW LOTS AV". The old display would have "TO".

Great pics!

Why was the 3 running R142s?

I'm late! Thanks for commenting. I dunno why. I guess all the R62s were running on the Northern (3)...
