kaback9 Posted June 3, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 3, 2009 Well, I started a thread for UP power and low and behold today a trip up to Port Reading brought visitors from BNSF! I'll keep track in here like I am for UP. Anyway they came in on NS 68Q and will go out on NS 69Q they worked the Ethanol plant today as CSAO(Conrail Shared Assets Operation) PR(Port Reading) 19. Anyway here are some shots: http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1626298 http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1626308 http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1626293 http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1626289 http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1626288 http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1626285 Enjoy! kaback9 Posted June 3, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted June 3, 2009 Thanks fellas! It sounded like any other GEVO except it was shinier:p. All kidding aside it sounded great and the engineer kept notching up making it sound even better! They just use the road power for the switching since it would be a hassle to go get a SD40-2 or some geeps from Port Reading Yard, especially since the other power is usually busy with other jobs that require an SD and a Geep or two Geeps. I would love now if we could get some CN units down here...but now I'm just dreaming! Though I'll take Conrail Blue as a consolation!

Actually I have heard rumors that CN will have a direct routing to port Newark terminal rr through NY and NJ for cars and car parts. - A
