As a B/O out of MJQ you can pull out whatever bus there is as long as you have been trained to use that type of bus. With that being said, no you cant pull out an artic and do an non artic line

MJQ very rarely puts Artics on 40 Foot routes. Judging by the sign on that Artic, it could of have been around the time the Autoshow was on as I know the M34 uses a few extra buses during the Auto Show and those extras only go as far as Penn Station.
