Harry 1,088 Posted November 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2007 Is this really what the future PATH station is going to look like? I haven't been around there in a long while so I don't know.

DHayward 0 Posted November 6, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 6, 2007 Um.. Station? Who designed it? We're they blind? It looks like something that should be in some European art museum..
NJTransitFan 0 Posted November 6, 2007 Share #5 Posted November 6, 2007 Looks like something that should be at the American Museum of Natural History.
Harry 1,088 Posted November 6, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted November 6, 2007 Well Harry, its still a hole...... Thats not gonna happen for YEARS. Well I wasn't asking what it is now but if that's the actual design they're going to use. I just think its hideous to be honest.

I just think its hideous to be honest. Well the design is something the developers aren't even sure of anyway because they have about 4 to choose from but lots of time to make a decision. But the one in the picture you showed is the top one. But we're stilling on that big ol' hole so no one should hold their breathe..... But with the plans they wanna do with Ground Zero and the stuff involving the WTC Memorial, I won't be surprised if they don't go with that station design. DHayward 0 Posted November 6, 2007 Share #8 Posted November 6, 2007 That design just doesn't fit in with any of the surroundings (If that picture is relatively accurate).. And it does not even seem like a practical design..

DOB2RTO 29 Posted November 7, 2007 Share #13 Posted November 7, 2007 It looks like freakin' dinosaur bones. To me it looks like that old school comb like thingy that young girls/women put in their hair to hold their hair when it is rolled up. You know the one that claps close when you depress the two sides.

Bstyles 50 Posted March 24, 2008 Share #18 Posted March 24, 2008 It's supposed to be the NYC transportation hub. When the Freedom Tower opens in 2011, I'm going to be right at the top, looking down at it.

When the Freedom Tower opens in 2011, I'm going to be right at the top, looking down at it. You won't catch me up there. Not after all what happened. I'll be with my two feet on the ground. Bill (NYCT)
Bstyles 50 Posted March 24, 2008 Share #20 Posted March 24, 2008 Yes, I know, and I don't blame you. I was actually supposed to be going to the top of the twin towers on 9/11(class field trip), but we got stuck in traffic. Thank god! But I'm still going to the top on opening day. East New York 4,103 Posted March 24, 2008 Share #21 Posted March 24, 2008 I hope that won't be the new PATH station. It does look like an ovesized hair clip. But as far as the Freedom Tower, I wanna go in there too!
