DarrylR.14 Posted June 8, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 8, 2009 I have three parts to this whole day adventure. The other two will be in these links below: Was going to San Francisco for one of my mom's friends birthday party over there. Our plan was to ride AmCal to San Fran. then take the BART to the station we needed to go. Anyways, here we go! Route: San Joaquin Home station: Interior of the modded superliner cars: (Hehe, accidentally took a picture of my mom!) First stop along the route: Antioch Martinez: Richmond(Direct BART transfer): Our stop: Emeryville, which I forgot to take a photo after we left the station!but got train closeups at that train station( see below for more) Bus Transfer to San Fran. (Ferry Building to be exact): and now for other pics I took along the way: Capital Corridor to Auburn, CA The other type of modded superliner car for AmCal(still has the orig. superliner door) (hehe, sorry for the finger) and the "aboard" sign(wanted to get the "Amtrak" but I took the pic too early!) What is a tad bit ironic, the train to/from San Fran was the same train I rode back and forth. First train to SF and the Last train to Stockton. *Continues on the BART thread*
2Easy Posted June 8, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 8, 2009 Thanks for the pics. Looking forward to the rest of the pics. I always considered Stockton "Central" California as in San Joaquin Valley. You guys that live there consider it Northern California?
