R44 5278 Posted June 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 12, 2009 Please excuse the poor audio quality and my immaturity back then. All shots were along the Jingguang and Tonghai Railways in Central-North China. The overnight service is strongly recommended to everyone as it provides more than enough room and comfort. Just take the express trains with soft sleepers!
rmcconnell Posted June 12, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 12, 2009 The Z-series trains are the non-stop ones, right? I took an overnight train from Beijing to Xi'an (and another from Xi'an to Beijing) in summer 2005. I believe only one stop was made in Shijiazhuang. It took about 14 hours in total. R44 5278 Posted June 12, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted June 12, 2009 Yes, the Z series trains are nonstop trains. In fact all of them only have Soft sleepers. I believe the one stopping at Shijiazhuang is a T series and it carries Soft and Hard sleepers in the same train.
