M. Friday 1986 Posted May 25, 2016 Share #1 Posted May 25, 2016 Here is a short demonstration of what's working inside PATH PA-1 car 143. It is one of two subway cars that survived the collapse of the World Trade Center and flooding from attempts to extinguish the flames from the collapse. Despite these conditions, car 143 survived intact. After several years of inactivity, some of the car's interior lights, door controls, and public address system remain functional. The exterior destination signs are also functional.
