Anyone with list #s 450-500 get called in for medical and final processing?

how many positions are open? When you say final medical and processing what does that mean? are you reffering to the pre interview and medical?<br />

As stated early in the thread there are three classes of 40 each going in, in the three months coming up. Fiinal medical and processing is the second visit to Livingston for your full medical workup and investigation of your 21 page booklet.

As far as the contracts and collective bargaining, one of the seniors on here would have to answer that.

Called today and they said they are up to list #430 on call backs for the final medical and processing. So it sounds like things are moving forward smoothly.

Yea. At one point I was able to get through on the general MTA #. But once I get transferred to human resources that is it, either voicemail or machine prompts. Guess all we can do is continue to wait.

I think I was one of the last. I'm in the top 500s. I went down three weeks ago.

Has anyone been called down to Livingston for final processing? I went down on Dec 13th for d/t but haven't heard anything yet. Just curious cause I have heard that some agencies are going on a freeze come February.

Hey all. Question for some that have been put on medical hold during the final processing and medical. When they put you on medical hold do they give you a form to have filled out by your physician that clears you or does a letter from your physician on letter head suffice?

Also has anyone been called for final processing lately and if so what list # range?

Top 10 of the 500s.

 

Ask for the train operator liaison and tell her your list # and the situation. She is the only one that officially knows the numbers that were sent correspondence and what u need to do to straighten it all out. Contact her through human resources.

500s just got my letter. Reporting on the 13th, see you all then. Wish me luck and good luck to you all that got theirs and those still waiting.

Are all the schoolcar classes at the same time of day? And if so can anyone shed light on what time that maybe? From the looks of prior posts it seems as it is round about 7am. Would like some insight in order to set up child care if and when the time arises. TIA

Anyone know if the 12/17 class has been filled and I see 220 is in there anyone in the higher numbers get called or a letter for drug testing?

@Elantra. Do you have confirmation on the retiree info? If so that would be greatly appreciated. The only classes I had heard about were the Oct, Nov, and Dec. Hoping it is true that they will be hiring more.

Not sure if there is an automated # but I called 718-330-1234 and followed the prompt for subway and then for employment center. When I got through they put me through to the train operator liasion and she was helpful in answering my questions. Good luck. What is your # range?

Last # to have a letter sent out for d/t was #303. For all that were wondering. That is from MTA employment center.

I have no idea what # they're up to but I want to be safe and not miss out on the oppurtunity. I don't anticipate them being up to the 500s by December but I'm gonna call tomorrow and ask what should I do or if they are anywhere near my #. If I find out what # they're up to I will let you know.

Question: Anyone know what would happen if you missed the first notice to come down for the d/t due to being out of state? I may need to go to FL the first week in December and my list # is in the top 500s. Does anyone know if I contacted Livingston and informed them about the situation if they would be able to help me out without me losing my list #?

 

They are supposed to be hiring 40 T/Os per month from now til April so there should be classes after Dec. At this rate it seems to get 40 ppl for these classes they have to contact about 100 ppl seeing they got 80 ppl for the classes and list# of 190s, you should be getting a call soon Robb for a DT and would think you will get into one of those classes in Feb/March time frame. All this is if they still follow through with the hiring process. Keep us in the loop im above you haha and am hoping maybe getting in that April class if things ramp up a lil

#507 here. Anyone have confirmation to the post earlier in this thread of more train operator classes being put in after December? From the sound of it I am not going to receive an invite to Livingston unless there are more classes being put in.

I'm in the top 500s and haven't received anything yet. Not sure what number they are up to but from all the post I would say somewhere in the 300s possible mid 300s.

Congrats too all that are in class and on their way to the light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck in class and hope the best for you. I hope to be there soon and possibly have some guidance from you all.
