  1. Smooth, go back to 180 and go to the left of where you gave in your docs the first time and get blanks. Make as many copies of those blanks as you need to to get your history right. That will suffice. I had to do 20 years of work history so don't feel bad.

One more question... For the 21 page packet; can I just make copies of the employment pages myself if necessary or are the blanks that you get from 180 Livingston different from the ones in the packet?

By blanks do you mean blanks of the employment docs for the 21 page packet or blanks of the pre-employment docs that I gave in the first time?

  3. Question: How did you get your social security printout in a couple days? It usually takes 4 months...

I was told by a friend that it would take months but then I was informed by someone on this forum that you can get it immediately if you go to a social security office in person. I went in person, paid the fee with a check (they accept money orders as well) and I received mine on the spot.

  4. I just got my work history printout from the SS office and now I have another concern...smh

On the pre-employment application that I submitted on the day of my drug test, I filled out the 10 year work history section and I thought it was accurate but upon looking at my printout from the Social Security office I'm realizing that the some of the dates that are put down are close but not 100 percent accurate. I'm concerned that this might be an issue.

For the 21 page packet I now have all the information I need to make sure that my work history is 100 percent accurate but what should I do about the discrepancies on my pre-employment application? Is there a department that I should call to correct the discrepancies on my pre-employment app? Am I ok as long as everything on my 21 page packet is accurate?
I'm not sure what I should do...

  5. Hello everyone.

Someone (I don't remember who or when) posted in the past that they obtained a printout of their work history from the social security office. I plan to go this Monday to see if I can get mine but I was told by a friend that it can take months after the initial request to actually recieve the print out. Does anyone know if it is possible to get this printout immediately/asap/not now but right now?
I finally went in for my drug test last week so I need this printout because 180 Livingston requires that you provide work history going back to high school when you're called back for the medical. Within the first few years after I finished high school I had a few random jobs and I honestly do not remember all of them. I'm concerned that if I do not include every single job that I've had that this will ruin my chance to be hired or to keep my position if I'm hired. I was excited about finally getting my letter but now I'm a little worried about this work history requirement.
I'll appreciate any helpful info that anyone can give me...

  6. Yeah, it's for a drug test so they dont wanna give you time to clean out your system if you've been puffing the magic dragon

Of course... The letter is for the initial step of the process which is a drug test so that makes perfect sense.

I think my obsession with receiving this letter is affecting my ability to reason... Nah... It's definately my extreme dislike for my current dead end crappy job that is affecting my ability to reason...lol

  7. I'm not sure about everyone else on this thread, I rec'd the letter on the 28th which told me to report on the 31st. So you're not given a huge window of time.

Wow; 3 days? I thought that they would at least give a week. I'm not taking any trip anytime soon then. Judging by my list number I'm assuming that it wont be too long before I get my letter. Until then, I will continue my daily stakeout of my mailbox...

  8. After you get that letter in the mail, how much time are you given to respond. I know that the smart thing to do is to respond ASAP but the reason why I ask is because I was thinking about taking a little vacation trip and I don't want to miss my window of opportunity if my letter happens to get delivered while I'm away. Depending on the time frame that is given, I may or may not want to take this trip...
