Heard from a training foreman that there will be a class in 2 weeks, sometime in August , get your stuff together people

So random question , I know they made a big deal about tickets during the hiring process , but what happens if u get a ticket after you were hired ?

Can anyone chime in on things not to do during probation

Is training also on Saturday/Sunday?

Is there any official uniform or is it like a where what you want type of thing ? Also what's acceptable to wear during the first two days of orientation and the remaining weeks of training ?

Just called ms robinson, she said the last list number called in to final processing was in the 240s

You started your process already ?

Whenever i call HR, they're always vague in what they say, and they won't even give an approximate list number of the most recent person who got called for final processing, guess patience is key

You need to speak to ms Robinson , the key is to call her early. Like 9/930 am 347 643 8198. She is in charge for track workers

To the guys that recently got hired, I didn't receive my pass today , is that normal ?

Been in the hiring process since jan 8th and was finally sworn in today, good luck to all other prospective track workers

Anyone else going in for final processing tomorrow ?

Took my 2nd drug test April 9th , while I was there , there was a dude next to me and I happened to glance over at his paper , there were list numbers there in the upper 300's

Oh it may just be a rumor but I heard the next class size could be about 45. It would begin when they get all of the qualified applicants to close out the next class. So if you get a med hold clear it up ASAP or you might miss the class. Just ask pilotboy! It's first qualify first get hired! And it would eventually reflect your seniority list since there are roughly 2000 track workers. Good luck by the way pilotboy hope to see you on the tracks!

My first letter was in january and i went in on jan 20th.  so i guess 90 days from then would be in about 2 weeks.  This letter says to come in next week, and i called on friday when i first received the letter and she told me that i have to come in because if they do decide to put another class my first drug test wouldnt have been valid hence why theyre making me do it again.

 

When you called, did you ask when the next class would be ? I have been trying to get In contact with them but they rarely answer the phone

Whats up guys, just a heads up, i got a second letter in the mail today (which was the same exact letter as the first) to come in for another drug test, (guess my first expired), HOPEFULLY this means they are trying to put in another class.  My list number is above 250 but below 300 for anyone who was wondering.

 

When did you start your process? Meaning , what day did you get your first letter ? I was told by someone in hr that drug test and medical expires in 90 days, has it been 90 days already ? I started my process jan 8 but missed the first class due to medical hold which I cleared on feb 12

Dam I was hoping the next class would be soon but I'm loosing hope . I was hoping maybe may. I was really dreding having to do medical again after 90 days, but eh I guess it's better than nothing. Congrats to those who passed training

I cleared my medical hold on Thursday feb 12. Was informed that there are no vacancies at the moment. Now it's a waiting game for the next class

I was also informed that medical and drug tests are good for 90 days from date of test. So if there isn't a class before May, I will have to do drug tests and medical again, as informed by hr

Would they take your name off the list if you take to long to come off medical hold ?

Well tomorrow is my first day. From what I heard, the class is about 20 to 30 in size. At least that's what a friend who is a track worker told me. One of the clerks during the hiring process told me out of every 100 hundred applicants roughly 10 to 20 make it through the hiring process. Not sure how true this is but it's just what I was told. Those of you who have been through the full process know that it was no walk in the park. From paper work to background checks to medical clearance it's been a roller coaster of an experience. I've never been through such an extensive hiring process. Even though I know I was good to go in all of the areas you always worry just a bit. As for the next class, I was also told it could be anywhere from 3 to 6 months minimum. It all depend on track worker positions becoming available and the need to fill them. What's your list number if u don't mind saying ?

I'm sure that the feb 2nd class is going to be extremely small. A lot of people with list numbers under 80 got turned away. Also a few people who are in the 100's like me who were there on jan 23 got put on medical hold. So I'm wondering what list numbers will be in this first class and hopefully it's small enough to the point that they put another class right after within the next month or so. I don't believe there will be a freeze . Since this first class will be small. , hopefully, just my opinion

I think it has something to do with your credits that were used on the exam. I heard some people didn't deserve the extra credits or something along those lines.

Yes. And if you come back clean, they will call you 2 or 3 days later for final processing...it's a little annoying, but not a big deal.

Seriously? Even tho I was already called in for final processing before the medical hold was placed ?

I would have to take another drug test even tho I passed the first one? I'm going back feb 12th and I'm sure my hold will be cleared
