  1. Bloomberg wanted the (7) to extend to NJ to connect to the NJT trains easier. I think Bloomberg has a great point. But even so, how long will it take for both Bloomberg and/or your proposal to even happen? 2040s?

I was hoping they built a shell on 10th Avenue as that area desparately needs subway service. That alone would take 5 years.

  2. There are junction malfunctions at Chambers St, this forces the (2) and the (3) to go via the (1) line to South Ferry.

    Reroute or suspended.

    (2) Train:

    Weekdays:

    - Runs via the (5) from 149th Street-Grand Councourse to Nevins St.

    Weekends:

    - Runs from 241 Street to South Ferry. Local servive from 42 St-Times Square to South Ferry.

    (3) trains terminate at 14 St.

    (4) runs local from Nevins St. to New Lots Av.

  3. I have a scenario:

During a riot following a Rangers-Islanders game at Madison Square Garden, much debris was deposited by rioters on the tracks of the 7th and 8th Avenue subway stations at Penn Station, causing structural and electrical issues. Support beams and third rails at both stations have been severed, preventing trains on both lines from passing through.

While this shouldn't matter, assume that all Sandy damage has been fixed.

     Hmmm...

(1): Runs from Times Square to 242nd Street. Downtown trains skip 66, 59, and 50 Streets.

(2): Via Lexington Avenue Line from 149th to Nevins.

(3): Runs from 96th Street to 148th Street.

(4): Extended to New Lots Avenue. Local in Brooklyn from Atlantic Avenue to New Lots Avenue.

(A): Local from 168th Street and Euclid Av. Re-routed via the (B) from 59th Street to West 4 St.

    (C): Suspended.

(E): Runs from Jamaica Center to Lexington Avenue.

(M): Runs from Metropolitan Av to Essex St.
