I said the same thing. I didn’t believe it until he bought that to work. I needed proof. But it’s clear as a day. But after thinking about it and speaking with him. He could’ve gotten 5 wrong when he first check his answers but after the protest for the exam it could’ve actually help him in reducing the questions he got wrong.
but like you said at least things are moving and starting to see progress.
Interesting. There are some people on here with 4 wrong who didn't get called and myself who got 5 wrong with no letter. Wondering what the cutoff was.

Got 5 wrong on the exam, no OPA letter yet. Hopefully I'm in the next batch and hopefully that batch is soon. Either way, it's nice to see that some progress is being made.

The problem with that rationale is that if three people protest a given question and they picked three different answers, what would the decision be? And people who didn'yt protest would benefit even though they conceded.
The answers themselves don't get changed, because that's not fair. That would leave a group of people who thought they had the right answer actually turn out to be wrong because a few people protested the answer. When you protest and if the MTA agrees, they throw out the question. They pretend it was never given, so everyone benefits. That's why everyone's score changes. The test would go from a 80 question test down to a 79 question test.
How did the protest session go?
Where there many participants for the PM session?
I don't know. I didn't attend the protest session. I would have, but I had other responsibilities to attend to. Though if anyone else went, I'd love to hear a report.0 -
You are mistaken, if you have a proposed answer changed, only you benefit. Anyone else who got that question wrong has to make their own protest and explanation.
That's not true. If a question gets thrown out, it changes everyones scores. If the MTA throws out 5 questions because people protested them, then the entire 6601 exam changes from a 80 question test to a 75 question test, changing the scores for everyone who completed the test.

Hope some of you plan to attend the protest session today for the 4/10 pm test. If you do, let us know how it goes!

Let's keep in mind exam 8094 has been extended until February 2017. Once 8094 is done they will move to the MTA promotional conductor exam first. With the promotional exam every person who took and passed it will get called. Even the ones with only 70%. Meaning our wait could be longer then we think. It will all depends on how long the promotional list is. 8094 shouldn't have been extended again. It was extended once or twice already. They should've just went straight to the promotional exam. I pray I'm wrong but we might be waiting over 2years before they start calling us.
This is getting depressing. I gotta stop reading these posts

On that 2 correct answers question, thank goodness someone else asked about that. Those were one of the first questions for me and I sat there for the longest trying to figure it out, more time spent on that than any other question because I was trying to figure out which correct answer to pick. If more than one answer was correct, that's a huge relief.

How long does the test last? Are you allowed to leave when you finish?
You get 3 hours to take the test and once you're finished you can leave.

I signed up toward the end and my test day was April 10th, so yes, I believe it is random.
Just wondering, if the proposed key answers is going to be available in July, how long from that date would the list be established?
