QUick question for The t/o's, what is the longest trip you can expect to be on from start to finish , meaning from the time you get in the car to the moment you are able to step out and go use a bathroom if necessary ,

Orientation is only day 1 and the first step of the hiring process which is paperwork, drug test, and giving you the 21 page booklet to take home and fill out. You still have to do day 2 at Livingston which is more paperwork the medical, returning the 21 page booklet from day 1, and taking a photo for your employee pass. It's on this day, after you pass the medical, they will offer you a class to start. They don't force you into a class. They work with you and will let you know what classes are available. I'm currently a Bus Operator and the process was the same when I was hired. I was at Livingston for Train Operator on May 15th. Waiting for the email to come in for the medical.
Does it come as an email or a phone call to come in for medical ? Also if for some reason or another they decided to not go with you as a candidate , do they still contact you or leave you hanging ? I wasn't in Thursday may 10 and heard nothing so far

I’m waiting for a call also to do medical. I’m in the low 100s.
Did you go in last Friday as well? I like the first class for 5/29 of 60 people might have been filled so I'm guessing they will now be calling for June's class

Hello everyone,
I was in last week thursday 5/10 for the pre employment interview for the provisional train op position ( i was supposed to go in 5/11 but I had something to do that day so they allowed me to come in a day early). Anyway, did the drug test, filled the forms out, and was asked to fax in a copy of my diploma which I did. Still didnt hear anything back from them though it seemed like they really wanted to fill that 5/29 class. My list number is low 100's so Im starting to wonder what can be the cause of the delay considering they told me I should have heard by Monday or Tuesday this week. Did anyone from last weeks pre employment interview get calls yet for their medicals?

Thank God, got my start date for next week. Went on medical hold during the interview process because I reported I occasionally snore, so I had to get test results from a sleep study my doctor did last year to get off the hold. Once I came back in with the proof I dont have sleep apnea, they sat me and offered me my start date. Took my ID photo, did the fingerprint and I was out with my new employee handbooks. By the way, I never received a CALL BACK for the medical, I received an email only, so look in your emails and junk folders, I dont think they have time to make phone calls right now.
