  1. Hey everyone. I took the OPA last Thursday and my list number is 49**. My husband updated his address yesterday and this is what they responded:

Your address has been updated.  At this time, we are only testing applicants with list numbers up to 5,000.  To date, the Employment Center has called up to list number 500.  If the employment center reaches your list number, you will be contacted to take the OPA.

@Cathy, approximately what range is your list number?

I may need to follow up with Transit, but it can wait a few weeks, until the kids and my wife, a schoolteacher, are done.

I listed at 4,9** I emailed the exams unit on Friday and they forwarded my admission letter for the OPA this morning. Thank God!

Yes, the drug test and medical exam are on different days. For the OPA I was out around 1PM.  Make sure ywhen they start letting y'all upstairs that you're one of the first off the elevator and on the line.

I actually have to call the HR today to schedule my 2nd drug test.

There are more than one drug test... I'm good with that anyways I'm just thinking of all the days I will have to take off work. All worth it in the end though. Thank you for that information. I will definitely try to make it through the line fast. I'm going to try to get there an hour earlier. It's a 2 hour drive from me

That OPA was ridiculous, the wait time for the second part was bad. Management should've either had more staff on hand or had less people come in.

Where is the opa exam? I have mine for Thursday but I didn't get a notice. Just an email informing me of a time change for my opa  ....

Same here, I took the opa yesterday... the second part threw me off, I think I passed though. what session were u scheduled for?

Hey are all the OPA in the same location? Apparently I have to take mine this Thursday but I'm not sure where. Where was yours?

@Cathy, congrats on getting the notice.  I also scored 95 and I'm waiting for the OPA notice.

Transit should have my current address, I updated them and they acknowledged the change of address, so maybe I'll receive an OPA notice myself in the next few weeks or months.

Transit hiring is I believe all done at 160 Livingston Street in downtown Brooklyn, pretty much across the street from the downtown Brooklyn Macy's. I believe it's Transit HQ which is down the street at 180 Livingston Street.

Thank you so much, I googled their address and got a number. Hopefully it will be beneficial... I really want to make sure I am present for this exam!

  8. Okay, so apparently I got a notice for OPA exam for June 7th @ 9:30 am. I did not receive a notice in the mail for this but today I received a text and email informing me of a time change for my OPA … I scored a 95 (with out added points). My question is, how do I know where to go? I didn't receive a form with a testing center. Every number I get is a dead end. I emailed 2 different email addresses and no response. I don't want to miss out!!!!!!!! Anyone know where I can call, email or go to find this information out? I must add that I live upstate so driving to NYC during the week isn't ideal, I work Mon-Fri 😫 HELP!
