same here, i restore my name last week and luckily they call me go tomorrow already, but i just have a question, do i need to fill out the form pre-employment form again? since i went there on April, will they keep the record???

not sure ,but I would definitely bring just in case, better to have them and not need them, good luck

  2. Sorry for delay  my list is 3xx I was called and went for pre employment in Nov and was called back in dec for medical at which point I had to put the process on hold due to current employment,   emailed dcas in march to have my number reinstated into list

  3. Recieved email and recorded message today to report to Livingston St on Thursday 6/20 for pre-employment,  short notice but happy to say the least, this time I received an additional email to print out the paperwork and bring it in already completed hopefully this cuts down on the length of time spent there

If you get called in for your first pre-employment do they ask if you have pending tickets or is that after the medical.? reason being have date for ticket  June 27th 2019 and its very possible it will be dismissed. just was not sure if i would have to just pay it before. Still would have under 4 points.

I did my first pre employment in November and had to put on hold, but to answer your question they did a complete license check(pulled abstract) right there and then on first pre employment,  I believe with under 4 points you should still be ok

For day zero, which usually takes place on a Monday, unless it's a holiday, you'll be grouped together at Zerega. However, for the training for Days 1 to 9, it'll be four students and one instructor so each person gets adequate time behind the wheel.

In addition, I would strongly encourage you to read this thread, which not has good, but, in my opinion, invaluable information, especially for those just starting out.

Thank you for the info , and thanks for posting the added link it has a lot of good info

    Hey Folks:

If you check out the Civil Service List Certification page, you'll see that for Bus Operator 7612 (type "07612" in the search box on the top right, followed by "enter"), you'll see that this past Tuesday, May 28th, DCAS has certified the next "batch" of candidates from this list. Now the reason why I say "batch" is because, although, according to the website, they only have 300 vacancies to fill, they certified and/or requested over 2,000 names. So we'll see happens...

In addition, if any of you are wondering what my status is, after this incident took place, let me just say that, when I typed "04600" into that search box on the Civil Service List Certification page, I got screwed yet, again. Although I'm not going to go into details on this website which is open to anybody and everybody, in the long run, all of this is just making me "mentally" sick, especially since it's an all-day process to very simply take a drug test by peeing in a cup.

Thank you for this update!!  I have made this list according to certification page, has anyone else who has made this most recent certified list received a letter to report for pre employment? I have not yet received anything  , also to anyone who has recently been to  initial training how many trainees are usually grouped together,  thank you in advance for any help

  7. Hi all I have some questions if anyone can help , scored 3xx and was called in Nov went and did all paperwork and drug test, was called for medical in dec, due to my current work obligations I was not able to leave my job until may of 2019 , I called the number that was on the medical notice and was informed they dont hold the job for anyone ( wasnt expecting to have it held I just wanted to postpone it a few months) I was informed I needed to send an email to tell them I could not finish hiring process at this time, which I did send and when I was ready again to send an email to put my name back on list, which i did in march and received confirmation that i was added back onto list, does anyone no the highest number that was certified? I am on list but not the certified list and was told by dcas I will be on next certified list when mta needs more candidates from the list does anyone have any idea how long that can take or usually takes?? sorry for long question wanted to give as much info as possible lol, thanks for any help/advice
