    First, welcome to the Forums!!

Second, as far as the difference is concerned, which is explained in the Notice of Examinations, which can be found in my first post, for the 'Associate' position, you need a bachelor's degree and two years of full-time experience in a customer service or public information capacity, whereas for the title without the 'Associate' you just need a bachelor's degree. As far as materials to prepare yourself for the exam, for now I would emphasize to read and focus on the Notice of Examinations. As time gets closer to the exam, either myself or somebody else will post something with what we think is appropriate material to prepare ourselves for the exam.

    Thanks OP!!!!

On the application, it says that:
"Experience which involves only incidental or occasional customer service, such as a sales associate or cashier is not acceptable."

Now, let' say I want to apply for the one that requires experiences and I worked at both Barnes & Nobles and Macys, do these two not qualify for experiences even when they are literally customer service jobs?
