I personally wouldn't give up the opportunity of getting in. Its very hard to get your foot in the door but you can continue the process and once everything is done and they are going to hire you. You can tell them you’d like to defer and they'll put you on hold until you want to be considered. However you have a bit to go through in the hiring process still. I received my first canvass email in sep 2020 didn’t finish the hiring process until march 2021. You do what you think is best for you, but I wouldn't pass up transit EVER. Its not easy to get in. But continue your process decide when yr actually getting hired because canvassing is just the start.

I was also called today but still don't know my list number. And have never been able to get or find it out.

People came in business attire but you don’t have to there were others like myself with regular clothes on. I went to work straight after so I had my boots on and jeans. They don’t really care tbh. It’ isn’t an interview it’s just a review of all the documents they sent in that email and get sworn in nothing to worry about. Just make sure you have your money order for fingerprints. Has to be money order from usps or the others one they accept. 

Can you explain about the money order. This is first time hearing about it.

She said there’s an upcoming class in about a week or two right after the class that’s going in the fourth. I went in today for final processing and start Jan 04. 

How should we dress? When I went in I saw people in business casual others in sweatpants some in suits!!! Never know how to dress for these things.

You should be good then if you sent it back. They are backed up cause of covid for sure. But you will get a call or an e-mail soon. You can call but they will always run you around. Also they E-mailed me monday to go tuesday next day literally a 23 hour notice from the time I got the email. So Just trust you will get called soon.

On same boat here. Sent application to both emails and haven't heard back since.
